Our impact
Ironbark Place provides high-quality, accessible homes to older residents and enables them to age in place in their own community. By providing the option for older residents to ‘right-size’ their home by transferring from public housing to community housing, it frees up other larger homes for families who need them.

Ironbark Place is designed to create an accessible community focused on connection and wellbeing and to meet the needs of our customers now and into the future. The communal rooftop, shared barbeque space and community garden help our customers to connect, relax and enjoy hobbies and community activities.

*Homes accredited as part of the Liveable Housing Design Standard have design elements to enhance functionality, liveability, comfort and accessibility for older people, or people with high mobility needs. Platinum Standard homes have the highest levels of features across 15 design elements for those with higher mobility needs, with more generous dimensions, and differences in features such as flooring and high traffic areas.
