Zehrina Hajdic – Housing Services Manager

CHL is a company that has great people to work with, it provides the freedom to create and share ideas and has a friendly environment. I love being part of a team that focuses highly on customer needs, culture and vision.


I was originally associated with Community Housing Mid North Coast (CHMNC) as a volunteer in 1998 and then as an employee holding a number of different positions. CHMNC then merged with CHL in 2009 and I have continued to enjoy many opportunities with CHL. Since my early role as a Housing Worker I have developed my skills and progressed through becoming an Area Manager; Corporate Services Coordinator; International and Office Support Coordinator; Project Management Coordinator and now I am the NSW Housing Services Manager.

CHL has provided me with so many opportunities to learn and develop, and during my time I have had the opportunity to complete courses and qualifications in the areas of Project management, Human Resources, Return to Work Coordination, Community Services, Social Science, Graduate Diploma and many others.

Our community is fantastic, we celebrate achievements, support each other, work hard and always find a way to do things better. Involvement with CHL has helped me and my community in general to continue making real difference to people’s lives by providing safe, secure and affordable homes to those in need. The best achievement for me is the growth of our organisation and the long term benefits to the people in our community.
