Following a renovation, CHL re-opened Wiles House, a shared accommodation complex for single men.

This created five new tenancies which have now been filled. Pictured are the CHL tenancy worker Byron Manitzky, along with four of the new tenants Ron, Graham, Stephen and Chad at their new home in Maryborough, Wiles House.

Each of the men have expressed that they became homeless quite suddenly and unexpectedly. They are thankful to the Good Hope Men’s Service for the support it provides them and feel they’ve been given the opportunity for a new start.

The men have decided to pitch in and clean up the many gardens surrounding Wiles House in a joint project as an expression of their appreciation for the assistance CHL has been able to offer them.

CHL is supplying garden supplies and tools to get things started.
