Anglicare & Housing Tasmania support Grove St project Ulverstone

CHL and Anglicare Tasmania work together to provide residents with opportunities to undertake activities and participate in the local community

CHL and Anglicare Tasmania work together to provide residents with opportunities to undertake activities and participate in the local community.

CHL manages the Grove House accommodation service and Anglicare Tasmania provides intensive support on-site to those tenants who require assistance.

CHL Tasmania values and works very closely with community organisations in partnership contract arrangements to deliver services and also participate in community initiatives.

CHL manages 20 one-bedroom units in Grove Street, Ulverstone as part of a tenancy management agreement with Housing Tasmania.

Each unit is self-contained and includes its own kitchen and bathroom facilities and has built-in cupboards and wardrobes. Some units can be joined to create two-bedroom accommodation.

‘Grove House’ also includes common kitchen and dining facilities, common BBQ and garden areas, as well as a shared laundry.

This property provides long term accommodation to a range of people, including some who have previously experienced homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness and people who have support needs. It is not a crisis accommodation facility.
