The development provides long term affordable accommodation for young people. It is not short term, crisis or transitional accommodation.
It aims to assist young people to stabilise their lives and develop the skills to engage with education and training and connect with families, the community and social and economic networks.
There are up to 30 self-contained units which provide a range of recreational, leisure, learning and other spaces for young people.
Thyne House has a variety of open and private outdoor spaces, gardens and terraces, and a parking area.
The independent units comprise a mix of one bedroom and studio units, which are of high quality with full kitchens and ensuites.
The universal design features for the units are readily modifiable, and some rooms are accessible for people with physical disabilities. These units are based on design principles that maximise resident privacy and independence.
